Archived: (أوقفوا الحرب) تدعو لاعتصامات في العاصمة النمساوية تزامناً مع مؤتمر فيينا2

أعلنت مجموعة الحراك المدني “أوقفوا الحرب” عن نيتها تنظيم اعتصام أمام مبنى فندق أمبريال في العاصمة النمساوية فيينا، يوم السبت القادم (14 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر)، يدعو لوقف القصف والقتل والتجويع والتغييب القسري والتهجير في سوريا، تزامناً مع انعقاد مؤتمر فيينا 2 حول سوريا.

وبحسب المجموعة فإن الاعتصام سيكون في تمام الساعة الثانية عشرة ظهر السبت، واعتصام آخر في الخامسة عصراً في ذات اليوم، ودعت “المجموعة ” كافة القوى إلى المشاركة معها ليتم رفع طلبها إلى الجهات الدولية المجتمعة بضرورة الالتزام بوقف الحرب على المدنيين السوريين الذين يتلقون يومياً ويلات الحرب ليتمكن جميع السوريين من المشاركة بالحل السياسي الذي يعتمد على مخرجات مؤتمر جنيف ١.

. “STOP THE WAR” “Stop the War” is an appeal to the international community, which has failed in dealing with the Syrian issue and must take its responsibilities to restore world peace and basic human rights, particularly the right to life, liberty and security of person (Article 3, Declaration of Human Rights). We, the civil movement “Stop the War”, consider the Final Communique, as was agreed upon in the “Geneva-1” Conference, binding. Its implementation must be the starting point for all efforts to find a peaceful solution in Syria, in particiular an end to all forms of violence exerted on the Syrian population by all armed parties. Fostering an atmosphere of safety will lead to peaceful solutions. This will be conducive to achieving the Syrian people’s demand for a democratic State, in which all citizens are equal, regardless of their religious or political convictions. Any international initiative that does not prioritise the cessation of the bombing, killing, starvation, enforced disappearances, and displacement of the civilian population, and an end to the siege of Syrian cities, will not only produce more losses over time, but will result in the rise of even more extremism. This will only take us further away from any acceptable, peaceful solution to the conflict by and for all Syrians. STOP THE WAR to ensure safety and to proceed with the formulation of a peaceful solution that guarantees the survival of a unified Syria where all Syrians from different ethnicity and religious affiliation can live
